Help advance mobility for young people across Europe! EFIL, the European federation of AFS organisations, is looking for a volunteer to support its advocacy and research work in the fields of youth mobility, intercultural learning, global competences and recognition of learning periods abroad. This includes attending external events and reporting on them, drafting desk research reports and EFIL position papers, supporting EFIL’s project ‘Empowering Teachers for Automatic Recognition’ and other tasks related to the work of EFIL to be identified depending on the volunteer’ interests. The programme is set to start in September 2023; exact starting date negotiable.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteer receives an allowance of 1120 euros (covering accommodation, food and pocket money), plus the return international travel at the beginning and end of the programme is covered.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
During the ESC programme, the volunteer will take part in ESC orientation camp (organised by the National Agency JINT) and can follow a language course – either Dutch or French (costs will be covered by EFIL).
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
– Experience as volunteer of an EFIL Member Organisation is preferrable; – Interest in the topics related to our work (active citizenship, global citizenship education, ICL, etc.); – Good command of English language (written and spoken); – Acquainted with the use of Excel and the management of data; – Acquainted with designing promotional material; – Acquainted with the use of online learning platforms, social media and other new online tools.
