Our association runs different activities that contribute to the mission. Organize educational summer camps for kids, workcamps for youth and adults, support volunteering experience thanks to the European program. Support the youth community growth and facilitate the organization of educational activities imagined to support the acknowledge of the territory, self esteem and empowerment. A lot of activities are done to support the communities and facilitate process of development. Take care of mountain trail maintenance, create a link between reality and support the networking, facilitate community interaction, prospective and engagement. The association offers a place to meet and exchange experience. The project intends to upgrade the work in the mountain and support the youth community growth.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The accommodation will be provided in a rented apartment with double rooms, sharing toilets and kitchen.. In the matter of food, the volunteer will receive an allowance (5 euro per day) at the very beginning of each month to manage their food and the pocket money.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Once arrived the volunteers will be assisted by a tutor during their activities. The tutor is one of the members of the association. The tutor will show the volunteers how the association works and which kind of activities they will develop during their stay in Roccantica. The tutor will be their contact person for everything, from their activities to the support they need in every kind of life.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
In the selection of volunteers, the project does not need any specific ability or knowledge, it only needs motivation and desire to grow in a new environment full of change and ideas. The volunteer work is not profit-making and it only intends to support the local community. Drive license will be welcome to support the logistic management of life in the area.
