Finlandiya 5 Ay ESC Gönüllü Programı

Finlandiya 5 Ay ESC Gönüllü Programı projesinde Avrupa Dayanışma Programı faaliyetinde bulunacak katılımcılar aranmaktadır!

nion Plaani will host four ESC volunteers in Heinola, Finland from 7 January to 31 May 2026. The project promotes solidarity, inclusion and community engagement through grassroots football, youth activities and intercultural exchange. Volunteers will support Union Plaani’s programs for children and young people, contribute to community events such as Plaanilandia, and collaborate with local schools and partners. The project provides volunteers with opportunities for personal growth, teamwork and intercultural learning, while bringing new perspectives and cultural diversity to the local community. Through Play, Grow, Connect, Union Plaani strengthens its role as an open, inclusive and international community sports club, showing how sport can foster solidarity and empower young people.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will live in shared accommodation in Heinola, each having a private room with a shared kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is fully equipped and located close to Union Plaani’s activities. Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of €200 and pocket money of €7 per day, according to ESC rates. Bicycles will be provided for daily transport, with winter support or bus cards arranged when needed. Travel costs to and from Finland will be reimbursed based on ESC distance rules.

Training during the activity

Volunteers receive on-arrival orientation, Finnish language support, and regular mentoring. They are trained in grassroots coaching, event planning, and working with youth through non-formal methods. Weekly reflection meetings help track learning. Volunteers also participate in ESC-organized on-arrival and mid-term training in Finland. Personal development is supported through Youthpass and individual learning plans.

Participant profile

We are looking for four motivated young people (18–30 years old) from across Europe. No specific education or professional background is required. An interest in sports, youth work, or community activities is an advantage, but the main requirement is motivation to engage with children, young people, and the local community in Heinola. Volunteers should be open-minded, adaptable, and willing to learn, with the ability to work both independently and in a team. A good command of English is required for daily communication. Previous experience in football, coaching, or youth projects is welcome but not essential. Union Plaani promotes equal opportunities and strongly encourages applications from young people with fewer opportunities or diverse backgrounds.
