DMT Yapı Portekiz İş İlanı ECDMT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Finance Chief to join our international construction project team based inPortugal. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all accounting and financial operations in compliance with local and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all accounting records are accurately maintained in accordance with the Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Manage daily, monthly, and periodic financial transactions and close accounting periods on time.
• Prepare and reconcile income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Oversee tax declarations and statutory reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Manage VAT refund processes and coordinate with relevant tax authorities.
• Represent the company before public institutions such as tax offices and financial authorities.
• Supervise fixed asset management and coordinate cost and management accounting reports.
• Support management with financial analysis and forecasting for project decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction accounting and finance, preferably with international site exposure.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Portuguese knowledge is a huge plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience withERP systems (Emor program knowledge is an advantage).
• Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, disciplined, and a strong team player.
