The main aim of RELEARN Suderbyn is to reach out to society with principles of sustainable development and engage youth and adults in positive societal change. GSX will bring together 6 young persons in Suderbyn Permaculture Ecovillage which defines itself as a social laboratory, an experiment and a playground. The volunteers will be living and working as co-residents and will have the opportunity to experience all the aspects of a holistic model of sustainable living Suderbyn offers for a year. This is an international community comprised of around 20 people in winter and 30+ in summer living tightly together and sharing resources. Sustainable living, eco-consciousness, community building and active citizenship are some of the core themes around which the activity revolves. The work involves developing the physical infrastructure of the ecovillage, gardening and participating in international projects. English is the main language of communication.
