The project “Volunteering for nature” is a long-term voluntary activity aimed at acquiring by volunteers very useful competences in the field of nature protection and cultural heritage. The Host Organization is the Świętokrzyskie and Nadnidziański Landscape Parks Complex, the CampoSfera Foundation is the Coordinating Organization. At the stage of creating the application, the Sending Organizations were not identified. It is worth emphasizing, however, that a number of practical skills acquired by volunteers will concern very high quality of knowledge in the field of nature conservation. (cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences). The project will be implemented in the city. Activities will relate to wildlife in the city. The project will be clearly visible thanks to the video blog organized by the volunteers and good cooperation with other local government units and non-governmental org.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteers will be accommodated in two rooms (max. 2 person in one room). They will have access to bathroom with showers, a toilet and a kitchen to prepare meals. Volunteers will be provided with food allowance and they will cook their own meals. Additionally, each volunteer will receive pocket money. The flat will be located in Kielce. Altogether around 800 PLN montly. Travel expences to the project and back will be reimbursed.
TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT
Foundation CampoSfera offers volunteers knowledge and skills such as: – gardening, – handcraft work: furniture renovation, working with wood, upcyling, – making and baking bread, making home-made preserves, etc. – working and living in a small community, – working with youth and children from rural areas, – knowledge and methods of leading workshops, – public speaking, – knowledge of organizing international projects, such as youth exchanges, – knowledge in organizing events such as small festivals, outdoor cinema, etc. – Polish language – working in international environment
Świętokrzyskie and Nadnidziański Landscape Parks Complex offers volunteers knowledge and skills such as:- nature conservation – gardening, – working with wood,-cooperation with scientists,- active protection of species, – learning about the functioning of a professional institution. – working and living in a small community, – working with youth and children from rural areas, – knowledge and methods of leading workshops, – public speaking, – knowledge of organizing international projects, such as youth exchanges, – knowledge in organizing events such as small festivals, outdoor cinema, etc.
