Accomodation and food: Turkish National Agency will cover the costs of meals and accommodation. Your dietary requirements are respected.

Training Course

The Youth@Work: Youngpreneurs of Future training course will promote among young people the understanding of what implies being an entrepreneur & motivation towards entrepreneurship, self-employment and running businesses as a tool to tackle unemployment.

Be aware that the language of this course will be English.

General description: The Youth@Work “Youngpreneurs of Future” training course is aligned within the objectives of the Youth@Work Partnership, of the new EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) and with the European Youth Goals.

This training course will support participants to develop new competencies through the application of innovative methods and tools and allowing participants to discover the European entrepreneurship competences framework. It will explore inspiring experiences from the entrepreneurial ecosystem to motivate them to gain new competences to create entrepreneurial initiatives.

Working from the definition of entrepreneurship and its main elements, participants will be able to design entrepreneurial ideas from practical tools and will discover diverse sources where to find further support and information.

Aim:  The final goal of this activity is to launch an invitation to young people to develop an entrepreneurial mindset as a different way of looking at the employment and business world and consider his future as entrepreneurs.

Objectives:

– To inform and raise awareness among participants about the characteristics, benefits, values and factors for success of entrepreneurship, as a catalyst for youth employability

– To introduce participants to the business model and its values

– To develop the competences of young people in designing and implementing entrepreneurship ideas for tackling unemployment

– To increase young people’s awareness about (social) entrepreneurship in order to undertake as a force for youth employability and social welfare

– To promote entrepreneurship and European competences frameworks (especially EntreComp) among young people

The training course is part of the Youth@Work Partnership, which is an institutional alliance of several Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres, including the Resource Center for the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union, which decided to take a new approach to support employability and entrepreneurship amongst young people and professionals. They, therefore, created  the Youth@Work Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship, with the aim to better address these areas by working collaboratively, based on a common strategy. Target group:

We are looking for 30 participants with the following profile:

 

Turkish or non Turkish young people (18-30 years old) but with Erasmus+ and/or European Solidarity Corps programme experience (e.g. Erasmus students or ESC Volunteers) living in Türkiye who have got entrepreneurial ideas and interested in entrepreneurship (or beginners young entrepreneurs) and fluent in English.

 

Methodology:

The draft training course’s programme of activities is attached below and it is based on entrepreneurship methods under the principles of non-formal learning and on a participatory and inclusive approach to learning.

Trainers:

 

Assoc. Professor Dr. Efe EFEOĞLU from Adana Alparslan Türkeş Bilim ve Teknoloji University is very well known in terms of business and academic knowledge on the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Pablo Castiñeiras from Spain is a freelance international youth worker, trainer, learning facilitator and consultant, member of the Pool of trainers of the Youth@Work Partnership.
