The volunteers will be actively embedded in the multiethnic and stimulating environment of Bologna by exploiting the activities and the network of contacts of YouNet. They will be involved in activities connected with the promotion of EU values between young people helping the European Mobility Department in the organisation/implementation and promotion of local activities like non-formal training, workshops, linguistic tandems, seminars, conferences, and cultural visits. This will enable them to approach this context and act as protagonists thus making the most of the unique opportunity of the ESC.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteer will be hosted in a fully equipped apartment close to the office. The volunteer will share a room with another person and he/she will be responsible for maintenance of the flat. The volunteer will receive a food allowance every month. The volunteer will receive an annual ticket to use the bus service.
TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT
General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events. Non formal training on soft skills, conflict management and problem solving. Other trainings on the tasks for the activities.
We are looking for 1 volunteer, willing to stay with us for one year, with a strong motivation to volunteer in a Youth Center and interest in EU topics.
