Working as part of a team in a Youth & Community Centre delivering a programme of supports and services to young people aged 7 upwards. The Centre uses Music & Drama, Sports and Recreation alongside Educational activities as the main tools for working with the young people. The main aim of the project is to broaden cultural knowledge for both the target group and the volunteer. The volunteers are actively encouraged to discover Ireland and its diverse culture while here and accommodate this with extended weekend breaks for the volunteer. This is a terrific opportunity for the right person to visit another country, learn about Irish culture, experience working with young people as part of a team and learn about themselves while doing so.
